This place is great. I've stayed here twice in the last 3 years. I've also stayed in 2 other places over the years as well, but they don't compare. The owners are super friendly, approachable people. The staff is fantastic, and responds to your requests super quick. The location is the best, just off the busy, congested main drag when you get off the ferry, but still a very short walk. The rooms are very nice, and homey feeling, and all have AC. Cool wrap around porch in the front if you just wanna hang out. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

I loved this place! Diana was super nice! The bed and breakfast is really cute and clean. I really miss the cheese and wine summer afternoons talking with Diana. The location of the inn is very convenient I walked everywhere. I totally recommend this place it is amazing!!

We had a lovely time here. It was very affordable the staff was super nice and helpful. A nice and healthy breakfast is served every morning and wine and cheese is served in the afternoon for a refresher. Both are included in the price of your stay. We stayed in the cozy Buttercup room and it was perfect for a couple on their honeymoon or just wanting to relax together. It's only a short walk from the harbor where the ferry comes in and the main strip where there are a lot of restaurants. Definitely coming back here on our next stay on Block Island.

Love! This place was perfect! We stayed in the Fluer De Lis room and it was wonderful! Comfortable beds, a private patio, an exterior entrance, and AC (we stayed the second week of July) I was so pleased with the location- just a few minutes walk from town, with a nice view of the harbor (and far enough away that we had no noise from the harbor) We definitely enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoons and the breakfast had a nice spread of baked blueberry french toast, hardboiled eggs and yogurts as well as delicious coffee. Added bonus- the supplied the beach towels so we didn't have to pack extra in our suitcase! Very nice touch! I highly recommend the Inn and will definitely stay there on my next trip to Block Island.

A great choice when staying on Block Island. The location is perfect. Walk to shops, yet you're not in the midst of the nightlife. Small but nice rooms at competitive prices. Complimentary breakfast each morning. Complimentary wine and snacks each afternoon. Clean and tidy. WiFi and cable, air conditioning for those few hot nights in the deep summer. Diana (the innkeeper; not owner), 5 stars. She makes you feel welcome and goes out of her way to make you comfortable. A note to the owners, the Inn is starting to show a bit of wear and tear. One room appeared to have a mold problem (thankfully not ours). It's time to invest some money in repairs ( and not just a touch of paint). The carpets are showing their age as is the wallpaper in places. Surely at the rates you charge you could put things in better repair. That said, the Inn still is a pleasant place to stay. It just could be in a bit better order, hence only 4 stars. And best of all, some of the rooms are pet friendly.

We have stayed at many places on Block Island over the years, but next time we will come back to The Inn at Block Island. The location, within walking distance of both Old Harbor (0.6 mi) and New Harbor (0.3 mi) is perfect. And the 5:30 PM wine and snacks in the parlor gave us the chance to mingle with the other guests. One afternoon it was guacamole, salsa, and chips, and the next day cheese and crackers were served. Also much appreciated were the beach towels in the bin on the porch.
